Bust Size

Measure under the arms around the fullest part of your chest. For your most accurate measure, keep your arms at your sides and have someone help you measure.

Waist Measure for Women

Measure around your natural waistline. Keep the tape measure comfortably snug, but not tight. For your most accurate measure, keep your arms at your sides and have someone help you measure.

Hip Measure

Measure around the fullest part of your body, usually at the top of the legs, about 7-9 inches below your natural waistline. For your most accurate measure, keep your arms at your sides and have someone help you measure.

Skirt Length

This measure is necessary for costumes with skirts. Measure from the point of your waist along the outside of your hip down to the point at which you want the skirt to stop. For your most accurate measure, keep your arms at your sides and have someone help you measure.

Men's Overarm Measure

This measure is necessary for jackets. Measure around the fullest part of your arms at the highest point of your shoulder blades. Keep the tape up and across your shoulder blades. For your most accurate measure, keep your arms at your sides and have someone help you measure.

Men's Chest

Measure under the arms around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape up under the arms and across your shoulder blades. For your most accurate measure, keep your arms at your sides and have someone help you measure.

Waist Measure for Men

Measure around where you normally wear your pants. You may measure over a shirt, but do not measure over slacks, pants or belts. Keep the tape measure comfortably snug, but not tight. For your most accurate measure, keep your arms at your sides and have someone help you measure.

Sleeve Measure for Men

This measure requires assistance. With your forearm parallel to your chest,have someone measure from the center of the back of your neck, across your shoulder, around your elbow to your wrist bone.

If no assistance is available, take a well-fitting shirt, lay it on a flat surface. Fold the sleeve at the elbow and measure as above to the end of the cuff.

Men's Inseam

This measure requires someone do this for you. Stand with legs slightly apart. The measure should be from your crotch to where you want the cuffs to end.

Alternately, if no help is available, take a pair of well-fitting pants and lay them out on a flat surface. Smooth out all wrinkles and creases. Measure from the crotch to the bottom edge of the cuff of the leg.
